Thank you all for your support

A special thank you
It really helped me yesterday and I have a little news. I took your advise and opened up an Etsy shop. I have only listed a few things because I want your opinions please. Opinions on price and also what I should be listing. Do you think I should list food and coffee pictures? Or just nature? What about my kitties? I eventually want to sell greeting cards and such too. But the cost for that is a bit high so I will wait and see how the pictures sell.
Hmmm, not sure if this works

my advice is to have a variety as so many people like differing styles...

your food and coffee shots are amazing...do you have a local coffee shop/resturant that might want to purchase some prints? good adveretising tooo...blessings, ELK

"A little news"... are you kidding me - those are big news. You are a warrior, way to go. I especially like photos of flowers myself but everyone has their likes and dislikes. Any seasonal scenes would be nice. Also, I find people tend to go for scenes that give them peace and serenity i.e. the ocean, big fluffy white clouds, etc. Best of luck Sebrina.

I agree - try selling a few different types of photos at first - keep track of what sells best and then you know what your niche is.

You are a talented gal and I truly believe that you will see great success with your art work.

Good for you Sebrina!! This is awesome!! I agree on the whole variety thing. So many kinds of people, so many kinds of pictures! I for one love the pic's of your shoes/instruments/parts of people. I think a variety of sizes/prices too so that someone with limited fundes can still get a tase of you (at the $20 range) but those who wish for something large can have that too. (you could even go into the $100 range for 8*10 or bigger) maybe even do some limited editions...print of 20, number them and presto! (the trick here is not to print any more of that photo, how ever tempting it may be) Don't sell yourself short. Your work is beautiful!!
You have totally inspired me!

Your images are radiant. Be proud and put em all out there. Good Luck with this new venture.

I think the foodie shots would sell. But try a few of your favorites and see what takes off!
What is your new Etsy shop called?

way to go Seb ~ so proud of you!! BTW I think you could charge quite a bit more. I suppose I am little biased being your mom, but I think your pictures are breathtaking. Love you! Mom xo

good for you!! i totally admire your bravery and your seizing the bull by the horns, as it were. i think the beverage pix (i'd totally buy that martini pic!) are the way to go, but that may say more about me...

very best of luck!!!

Sebrina, only just read your post from yesterday and I'm so sorry to hear of your situation!!! So sorry. So many people being touched by this awful thing. I know you'll cope and it's all relative but it still sucks!

And then this - brave, resourceful and amazing! Well done you!!! Great name and I think a range of images works well. No matter what the subject, they are united by your particular sensibility and visual style, which is beautiful. I often buy prints as gifts and it depends on the occasion and the individual but it's good to have a variety to choose from. I can already think of people who will love harmony, relaxation (wow, that's a cute cat!) and refresh... Pricing is good for this size - comparative to similar products.

Wishing all the VERY very best with this! :) xx

This is such exciting news! You have SO many photos that I'd love having on my walls. I can't wait to see your Etsy page!

HOORAY! I've missed a few days and was so happy to visit this morning and see this wonderful news. congratulations. I'm so glad it's friday so I can come home tonight and have a 3-day weekend to catch up and look at all the beauty you've created for us.

Congratulations, Sebrina. I love knowing you now have an Etsy store. I was on there a few days ago and thought I would hunt for you (under Sun Mamma) in the hopes of discovering you already had one. But, now you do.

I agree, a variety of topics is a great way to start. I do love your food pictures and think compiling them into a calendar along with the recipes would be a great idea.

I know the dolls are expensive & time-consuming to make, but I'm pretty sure you could up your selling price on them and be really successful with them. I did a lot of research on Waldorf dolls for sale, so I'm not just saying that because I like you :-)

Congrats, Sebrina! Excellent pick of pics with which to open your store. Good for you for putting yourself out there and giving it a go.
