Book Love
>> January 2, 2009
My next intention for the new year is reading. I love to read but it seems to be the last thing on my list that I get to. Not anymore! I am going to make an effort to read at least 12 books this year. I am starting with an easy read. Tales of Beetle the Bard by J.K Rowling. I may be cheating a bit here since I will be reading it to the kids as well but......
I absolutely adore Harry Potter so when Mike heard about this book he knew he had to get it as a stocking stuffer for me.
Happy Friday Everyone!

Happy Friday! I made a big effort to read more books last year and it worked, although I didn't count how many it was more than the zero books I read the year before. I had to put the books on my iPod to get it done though since my commute is an hour each day.
Good luck - I don't think reading Rowling is cheating at all. Enjoy!
Might have to borrow this one from you, although I already have six books in my "to read" pile.
Oh! I see you're over here too. 2 beautiful blogs.
I love to read, the only problem is once I start nothing else gets done!
On another note, have you considered selling your photo's, an Etsy store or something similar? I love them and every time I see a new one I want it!!!
Hey Jenn! I actually am thinking about selling them...
Where on earth do you find the time for all this with 4 kids??? They must be excellent self-players!
I make the time Sarah. Being creative and expressing myself is essential to who I am. So if I don't make time for that part of me then I would not be a happy mamma. Some people go to the spa, some shop, I take pictures :)
I hope you do! I have about 10 that I would love to order!!
But, you'll still make the kids your photo subjects, too, right? :)
I do L. I just don't post their pictures as much.
i can recommend adding pretty much anything by haruki murakami to your reading list for 2009. :-) time well spent!
and since you've been to ethiopia, you'd enjoy paul theroux's dark star safari, as it seems that ethiopia is one of the places in africa he likes best.
HI Sebrina...I'm enjoying reading you, and your photos~mmmm, great work!
I too am making an effort to read more this year. My thing during the last few months has been anything by Guy Gavriel Kay. He's a brilliant author and if you have not yet had the pleasure, definitely worth a read. The Fionavar Tapestry is a brilliant trilogy.
Looking forward to reading more, there seem to be many paralells here!
